<aside> 👋🏼 Hi, I am a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Gonzaga University. My primary research is in the foundations of epistemic normativity. I also have interests in social epistemology, specifically, in the spread of conspiracy theories and misinformation.

Background

Before moving to Spokane in the Fall of 2021 to join the  Department of Philosophy at Gonzaga University, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at the University of Indianapolis. I received my PhD in philosophy in August 2019 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have a BA in Philosophy from UC Berkeley and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Islamic Azad University in Tehran.

I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and moved to the US in 2008 to study philosophy.
